E-Learning & Digital Content | Remote
Role Overview
PTAPD (Professional Training & Development) is seeking a creative, proactive, remote Instructional Designer to craft high-impact, interactive learning experiences. In this role, you will design video-based content tailored specifically for self-paced online interactive learning courses, revamp existing training materials, and produce engaging multimedia assets for digital platforms including YouTube.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, interactive training modules and video-based learning resources for self-paced online courses from end to end.
- Review, refresh, and upgrade existing learning content to ensure alignment with PTAPD quality standards.
- Storyboard, edit, and produce engaging video content optimized for YouTube and online learning platforms.
- Structure and package e-learning content for seamless integration into Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Manage workflow, project files, and team collaboration effectively using Google Workspace.
- Deliver content independently as a remote worker, taking initiative to meet milestones with a positive, can-do approach.
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated background in instructional design, e-learning development, or digital content creation for self-paced learning.
- Portfolio/Work Samples: A strong portfolio demonstrating previous work in visual design, interactive e-learning (SCORM), or video editing (mandatory).
- Practical understanding of SCORM standards and experience creating SCORM-compliant e-learning packages.
- Proficiency using Canva and/or CapCut to produce visually appealing assets and polished interactive video content.
- Strong digital literacy with hands-on experience in Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Sheets, Slides).
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote environment, balance priorities, and meet project deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills in English and a strong eye for visual design, video editing, and interactive learning aesthetics.
Position Summary
- Work Type: Flexible weekly hours initially (part-time or full-time commitment considered based on performance).
- Location: Remote (must align with Australian Eastern Time / AEST time zones).
- Probation: Initial 3-month probation period.
- Remuneration: Negotiable based on skills and experience.
